Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I spent it relaxing and watching DVDs. Shore Shank Redemption is highly recommended if you haven’t seen it already. I hope this picture I found on Pinterest this morning lifts you out of any possible “blue Monday”.
I have so much to be thankful for and I’ve been reflecting on this quite a bit this weekend. I have such a wonderful family, fantastic friends, the gift of education, of the senses and of life. The hard times definitely make the good times all that much sweeter. If anyone of you is having a difficult time at the moment, be brave, you will make it through. There are plenty smiles waiting for you on the other end. Have faith.

Your pic makes me smile, because it reminds me of the International Balloon Fiesta that takes place every October in Albuquerque, NM. I used to live there and loved going to the event plus just seeing the sky filled with colorful balloons every morning while I drove to work.
So glad I could put a smile on your face, Lisa! Where is NM? It sounds like a wonderful fiesta, I would love to see it.
