Hi everyone! I picked up this gorgeous peach Topshop full skirt at the Skip Fashion Exchange event two weeks ago. If you read this post you will know that I was giving away tickets for the event but if you missed out, you will be pleased to know that there will be another one happening next month. I will keep you updated with all the details.
Curious to know what happened? The event was a three course, sit-down dinner in the most beautiful setting. Everyone was required to bring three items of clothing that must be in excellent condition and by handing these over to the exchange, you were entitled to select three new items to take home with you. Each item that was handed over was scrutinised for flaws, scuff marks, etc so really only wonderful items made the cut. Nine West shoes, Zara dresses and Aldo backs lined the racks. Before making a beeline to the exchange racks though, we enjoyed dinner and a fashion show showcasing the latest trends.
A big thanks to Skip for putting together such a wonderful evening. I’m really looking forward to the next one.

Leanne, that skirt is just so pretty!! I love the color and fit. I have a few midi skirts similar to it that are a bit longer, and I am thinking of hemming them to that length. Very classy! Love the blouse and flowers too girl. Have a great day!!

That sounds like a wonderful event (were there people that didn’t get to walk away with 3 pieces? I’d imagine that not everyone was the same size). Also, I love that white blouse—the neck tie is so romantic.
