I follow your stunning blog through Twitter mostly.
Sasha from @FaceValue_ZA gave me the tip a few months ago to exfoliate my lips using a toothbrush and a bit of water (sans-toothpaste). Never had a I thought of doing this before, but oh my word, my lips felt so soft and smooth afterwards.

    2. Best beauty tip, it is simple but essential. Remove your make-up every night and apply a moisturizer every day. Especially when you are younger and are out and about till late (very late) it is easy to get into the bad habit of not taking your make up off.

…and the best advice I’ve ever been given is to keep your skin hydrated and moisturised. This means that I drink lots of water (because it’s just as important to keep your body hydrated from the inside as what it is to keep it moisturised from the outside); and that I am absolutely religious about applying moisturiser morning and night. Hydrated, moisturised skin is always beautiful and fresh-looking 🙂

Avo and salmon are miracle foods. They’re so rich in all things great for our skin and they happen to be my favourite things to eat too so that’s an added bonus. Sleep can make such a difference too. My skin looks so dull without enough sleep. Thank you for sharing your skin tips!

You’re so right! Our skin certainly needs hydration from the inside. Too much tea/coffee and not enough water is probably the biggest downfalls in most our skin care routines.

The best skincare tip I was given is to always include your neck and décollatage area when doing my facial moisturising and toning after the cleansing session. Many women tend to neglect these areas when moisturising and toning. It’s so important.

The best skin care tip that i have received is exfoliate your skin 3 times a week and apply a facial mask onto your skin after your exfoliate. After I have tried this tip ,I have noticed that my skin appeared to be brighter with a radiant glow . The tip was issued by a Dermalogica consultant at their pamper party.

And the best skincare tip I’ve heard, as strange as it sounds, is to use castor oil on your eyelashes and eyebrows to stimulate hair growth. It really does work for me, because I have too many eyelashes and often have to pull some out (very first world problems, I know).

I follow your blog as well as your instagram account. The best skincare advice that I have received is firstly to accept the skin that you have and work with that. I used to spend all my time trying to get the ‘superior glowing complexion’ only to feel clammy and itchy afterwards thanks to being born with eczema. I also used to use a wide variety of products, too many brands and too many products in fact… I landed up confusing my skin more than anything, treating everything from hydration, puffiness to pigmentation in one fell swoop. I now stick to one range and have accepted my skin, I do a mask once a week and use one really good daily cream and one evening product as opposed to quite a few (what a costly exercise that was).

The basis of good skin starts on the inside…
Supplements: Take a Vitamin C and zinc supplement daily
    Eat More: Nuts, tomatoes, avocados
Eat less: Skip sodium and too much sugar and limit caffein
and drink lots of water of corse 🙂

Then there is the amazing Dermalogica that takes skin from good to perfect! 🙂
