Aromatics In White by Clinique is a new take on oldest fragrance of the beauty house. Its predecessor, Aromatics Elixir, was created in 1971, has chypre-floral notes of carnation, rose and moss. The scent has now been modernized by Nicolas Beaulieu. Aromatics in White has tart notes of Sichuan pepper and violet, floral notes of rose, orange blossom, patchouli and perfected with the scents of musk, vanilla and amber. This is a sweet and powdery fragrance with oriental accents and hints of earthy fragrances that is nothing like I have ever smelt before. I absolutely love how clean and simple the bottle is. It is all white with minimal detail detailing. The base is opaque and the lettering is gold. The bottle is a perfect preview of the milky, powdery fragrance which it contains.
