Blue Eyeshadow Makeup Tutorial

19th November 2015

To get you ready for the weekend I thought I’d share a really fun makeup look with you today.  This is a blue eyeshadow makeup tutorial and it is really dramatic making it perfect for a night out.  You could by all means wear this in the day time but I, personally, like to save this look for a special event or for a night out with friends.  It’s colourful and glittery which also adds to my love for it.  This look was inspired by MAC’s Dazzleshadows of which I used “Try Me On” which is a gorgeous blue/gold shade.  I mentioned this shade in my MAC Haul video which you can watch here.

I know many people are worried that wearing blue eyeshadow reminds them of the 80s and for that reason stay far away from it.  Others are just terrified that they will look like they have bruised eyes.  Some people also believe the misconception that you can’t wear blue shadow on blue eyes.  Today I’m going to show you, step by step, exactly how to use this shade in my blue eyeshadow makeup tutorial.   It’s all about how you blend it, which shades you blend it with and where on your lid you apply it.  Once you know these three steps the rest is easy.

Let me know if you liked this tutorial and if you have a suggestion for my next tutorial.  I really have so much fun putting these together for you guys.  Thank you so much for watching!
