In the past couple of years I have gained plenty of experience travelling. It is what I live for and dream about. I get so caught up in planning new trips and new adventures. Going on them is absolute bliss to me and the moment I return I am on to planning the next trip. While it might sound absolutely wonderful, and it definitely is, travelling doesn’t come without stress. Going to a foreign place where the population speaks a language you don’t understand can be pretty intimidating. Travelling alone brings its own worries. Plane Claim, however, is brilliant at putting your mind at ease in situations where all control lies out of your reach.
Three years ago I had planned a trip to Europe in winter to experience a white Christmas. I was eagerly awaiting my arrival in Munich but I had a connecting flight in Paris to get there. Upon arriving in Paris in the freezing weather the crew determined that the aeroplane door had frozen and need to be heated by the technicians from the outside in order for it to be opened. This unforeseen situation cost me time and my heart beat quickened as the clock rolled on. By the time I managed disembark I had to run as I had never run before through two terminals and two security check points in Charles De Gaulle. Shoes off, belts off, coats off, cameras out, redress and repack, repeat. By the time I arrived at my connecting flight gate there was a bus waiting for me, and only me, and I was the idiot that all the other passengers knew kept the plane waiting when I walked on board. It was completely out of my control and the entire time I was panicking that if I missed the flight I wasn’t prepared for what would happen next. This was not the first nor the last time that technical matters have caused me to come close to missing a flight but now thanks to Plane Claim I no longer stress about the consequences where such an event occurs.
Plane Claim gives you the piece of mind that where your flight has been delayed, overbooked or cancelled anywhere in the world, you will be able to claim compensation for the inconvenience. The amount of compensation you are able to claim is not limited by the cost of your airfare but rather determined by the duration of your delay and the distance of your flight. If you experience a delay, overbooking or cancelled flight, you are entitled to claim for compensation and Plane Claim is able to assist you quickly and easily via an online application. Your application will be handled at no cost to you. If your claim against the airline is successful, Plane Claim will take a small portion of your compensation as their fee (25%) but if your claim is unsuccessful you need not worry about fees at all. I am so glad that Plane Claim exists to provide for airline passengers because so often we tend to accept our fate and don’t realise we are entitled to be compensated for the hassle we have been through.
I know many of you will be travelling this holiday season so bear this post in mind should anything happen while you are flying to or from your destination. It’s so lovely to have one less thing to worry about. Now on to that relaxing holiday (mine starting next week already 🙂 )!
