Last week I held a poll on my Instagram Stories (@arumlilea) and asked what you wanted to see and I saw an overwhelming majority voted in favour of more beauty posts. To fuel your hunger, last week I posted a Clarins Double Serum and Everlasting Foundation review (which you can find here). I started off this week with a bang by posting a One Brand Makeup Tutorial using only Revlon products (found here) and I thought I’d give you another beauty post today, this time focusing on three drugstore makeup favourites. I’ve been using these products for a while now but I noticed that they hadn’t yet appeared on my blog so I thought today was the perfect day to share them with you.
If you’re looking to hop on the eyeshadow palette bandwagon but aren’t prepared to fork out a ton of money on a luxury makeup brand, the is the palette for you. It has a really wide variety of 12 different shades which is ideal for being able to create a multitude of different makeup looks from daytime, casual looks to a more sophisticated, smokey nighttime look. The packaging is beautiful too. If you’re looking to spoil yourself or treat someone you love to an affordable, great palette, I’d definitely suggest this one.
There are a couple Vichy products that I have incorporated into my daily routine over the past few months. The is one of my favourites. I also incorporated the into my routine during the winter months and I really loved the result. Introducing the into my skincare routine has been a complete win. I actually keep this product in my gym bag to use after an early morning workout because it has a really calm and cooling effect on my skin. After I have showered and washed my face, I’ll go in with this product before applying moisturiser. It has a gel-like texture that works really well in reducing post-workout redness in my skin and works wonders in refreshing it. It definitely boosts the hydration in my skin too which is always a bonus. I genuinely love this product!
If you are very observant, you will have noted that I don’t stray far from either light pink, red or white nail polish. I’m not sure why but I have been this way since high school. This white shade is truly one of my favourites. It’s completely opaque which I love and it lasts a decent amount of time before I experience any chipping. Often with white nail polishes (or even Gelish), you will experience discolouration but I have to say that with this white shade from , I have never experienced this. I have pretty much used the entire bottle of polish which, you know, is quite an achievement because usually, a bottle of nail polish will go thick long before you will ever get to the bottom of it. The reason I have almost completely the bottle is a testament to both the quality of and the quantity that I have used this shade. It is definitely going to be replaced and I will continue to use it all summer long.

The Vichy Normaderm is also one of my absolute faves.
