It’s time to shine the spotlight on the dress of the week!  As you know, the Arum Lilea Collection of dresses is my pride and joy and it’s been such a labour of love to create these dresses which I love so dearly.  Today I’m shining the spotlight on the Eileen bell sleeve dress (currently on SALE!!!) which is named after my incredible grandmother.  I love all things in lavender so after trialling out two other colours, I settled on this gorgeous lavender shade for this dress and I’m so glad I did.  I included the lavender field that was on my mood board for this dress while creating it below.

It’s a really striking dress and can be worn into the office or to a special occasion.  I actually wore this dress while presenting a social media law workshop and it was a great choice for my presentation.  I’m definitely going to be wearing it for an upcoming engagement party.  The length of the sleeves makes it a lovely choice for a winter wedding but it will also be a wonderful choice for early spring too.

If you read my tips on how to create an unstoppable career, you will remember I wore this dress in that post because it truly is the ultimate “Girl Boss” type of dress.  Wearing it is somewhat comparable to wearing a power suit.  You know you are going to get things done when you’re wearing it and it feels great.  The moment you slip into this dress, the confidence exudes through you and you stand a little taller and smile a little brighter.  Why not?  You should be proud to be you and I’m only too happy that this dress has that effect.
