My love for all things navy continues. I’m not sure why but I naturally move towards all things navy every time I’m looking for new additions to my wardrobe. When I saw this Miss Friday Ally dress at YDE I instantly fell in love. I usually shy away from strapless dresses but this one is cut so perfectly that I don’t find myself tugging at it to ensure it stays up. What really sold me on this dress, however, was the laser cut-out detailing on the bottom. This lace-like pattern gives this dress such an elegant dimension to the dress. To spice up this look a little, I threw on this pair of fringe heels which are probably on of my favourite pairs of shoes, even though I don’t wear them often enough. Ryan hardly ever compliments me on what I’m wearing (to be honest I don’t think he notices at all) but when I came down the stairs in this dress his eyes widened and he said he really liked what I was wearing so I’m taking that as one massive compliment!
In addition to this gorgeous Miss Friday Ally dress from YDE I’ve also been wearing an olive skirt almost identical to this dress which you may have already seen on my Instagram (@arumlilea). I don’t think I’ve ever had as many compliments a skirt in my lifetime so I will definitely need to share that in a post in the near future too.
Can you believe it’s already nearly November? I feel as though time is accelerating towards the end of the year and it is making me so excited. I am the biggest fan of the festive season and a few days ago I went to do some grocery shopping and saw that Christmas trees, tinsel and decorations are on sale already. I could have squealed in delight! We have some very exciting Christmas travel plans, which some of you have already guessed, so we’re heading into a wintery Christmas season in December and I think my countdown has begun. Have you planned anything for the December holidays?
