I was drawn to this Forever New dress the moment I laid eyes on it. Isn’t it the yellow dress of dreams? It made me realise that I do not have enough yellow in my wardrobe. It’s such a fun, happy colour and it’s so eye-catching, even in its muted form like this shade. I’m a little crazy about it. I absolutely love Zimmermann designs and when I first saw this Forever New dress, I thought it must have been inspired by this Zimmermann dress (or maybe this one). What do you think? Isn’t it a great dupe? I love that it has similar flowing, feminine and floral details. It’s just gorgeous with its long sleeves and lace detail. I did include this dress in my Spring Haul video so you can see how it moves in this video.
How are you all doing? As the restrictions start easing, I’m finding it a little strange coming out of hibernation. We celebrated Ryan’s birthday weekend before last and I was completely exhausted purely from seeing and chatting to people I hadn’t seen for months. I was so happy to see everyone but it must have been an overwhelming experience for my senses because I really felt shattered after seeing so many people in such a short space of time. I need to rebuild my social stamina lol.
Other than filling up my social calendar, I’ve been reading A Gentleman In Moscow by Amor Towles. I’m really loving the style of writing but I’m only 150 pages in. I’ll keep you posted in my next Arum Lilea Book Club post, speaking of which, I have been planning a Halloween-inspired readathon for the month of October that I cannot wait to share with all you book worms because I hope that you’re going to love it! I’ve really had so much fun planning it. All the info will go up next week so you can plan which books you’ll be reading and find out all the details if you’d like to participate. It’s completely free and just something that I thought would be fun to do together. I’m so excited!!!
