Wardrobe Staples

Today I thought I’d share with you a couple of my wardrobe staples.  I always look for versatile items of clothing when I go shopping because I want maximum wear out of my clothes without my style becoming repetitive.  
To begin with I love coloured blazers.  This pink one from Zara is one of my favourites.  Blazers are a way you can guarantee to look well put together in a minimal amount of time which I love because lets face it, there isn’t always all the time in the world to get dressed no matter how much I might like to.  It’s often about picking a key piece that is going to work well with anything you might have already slipped into.  Blazers are great for jeans, pencil skirts, dresses and pretty much everything so this is most definitely an important wardrobe staple to me.
In the second image, flares are a wardrobe staple.  Whether in a peplum top, a great skirt or in a well tailored trench coat, a little flare can make all the difference to your outfit.  It immediately adds an element of elegance and style to whatever you are wearing and makes it that little bit more special.
My last wardrobe staple for today is my chambray denim blouse.  This is yet another versatile piece of my wardrobe that I use for so many different kinds of outfits.  Its great on its own, used as a layer under a sweater or jacket or with jeans as a denim on denim look.
As you can tell I really like to be savvy about my shopping.  For me there is nothing more frustrating than spending loads of money on items that I hardly use so I try my best to avoid that.  Do you do the same thing?  If you are please leave a comment!  Happy Thursday xxx
