Some people find floral print very intimidating but you really don’t need to. It’s such a fun print and its wearable for any occasion whatsoever from work to weddings and everything in between. My “how to wear floral” advice would be to start off with something you’re comfortable with. If you find a really pretty scarf or a cute dress, go for it. A floral scarf can be a wonderful accessory and I love to add it to what would be a really simple outfit like I did in this post. A floral dress can be worn on its own like I wore it here or more subtly under a denim jacket or blazer like I wore it here.
The colours and print will play a role in how bold and daring you are willing to go. Soft pastels and light prints are a great way to start incorporating floral into your wardrobe. Once you’re comfortable with that you will be wanting to add bolder colours and stronger prints to your collection.
I personally like to break up my floral print with a solid colour as I’ve done here with a plain pink blazer and crisp white shirt so that your eye is attracted to one print rather than multiple. I also did the same thing with this white and blue print in this post. This has been one of my favourite trends over the past two years and I’m pretty sure you’re going to be seeing a lot more of me in this print.
Do you wear floral print? If so, how do you like to wear it?
