Eros is the God of Love in Greek mythology and this fragrance almosts suggests that Eros was seduced by the strength of a woman. It’s not hard to be seduced by this fragrance though. Versace’s Erose Pour Femme is the line’s new fragrance that has been newly launched in stores. I’ve had it for about two weeks and I’ve fallen completely head over heels for it. When I reach to my perfume tray in the mornings I am finding more often than not that I am reaching for this fragrance. It’s easily my new favourite. With notes of Sicilian lemon, Calabrian bergamot and pomegranate, jasmine, peony and a base of woody notes, it is zesty and powerful. I can imagine being in the Greek islands with the fresh lemon and jasmine scents but I love the fact that the woody base adds a depth to this fragrance making it a bit stronger and more alluring.
The bottle is absolutely gorgeous. It is actually one of my favourite bottles. It has a metalic gold medallion with a Medusa symbol on the centre of the bottle, Greek motif of the edges and it has a beautiful bold stopper. It really is something quite special.

I’m all for adding perfumes to my little perfume tray, so I’l definitely try this fragrance. And a pretty looking bottle is just a bonus!
