Last week I was lucky enough to join Elizabeth Arden for the launch of a couple very exciting products. I will be sharing all of the new products with you which I’m so excited about. There are some wonderful new innovations in skin care that I will be reviewing. I need to try those out a little longer before I can give you a full review on them but in the meanwhile I have the most incredible fragrance to share with you.
The newest fragrance to Elizabeth Arden’s collection is, in my opinion, the best yet. The fragrance is Elizabeth Arden Always Red which is so fitting to the brand that is identified by its red door. The bottle holds the shape of the iconic red door too. I always associate Elizabeth Arden with the colour red not only by its famous door but also by the incredible red lipsticks too. I have tried many, many red lipsticks (indulging in my love for them) and without a doubt Elizabeth Arden is the creator of my two favourites – Red Door Red and Bold Red. I could write for days on these two shades but today the star of the lime light must go to this perfume.
Elizabeth Arden Always Red is a very sexy, intoxicating and deeply romantic fragrance. It is a combination of a fruity and woody fragrance with top notes of plum, grapefruit and passion fruit, middle notes of jasmine and rose and base notes of amber, mahogany and chocolate (sounds delicious, doesn’t it). It is a fragrance you will want to wear on a night on the town. It is so long lasting that there is also no need to re-apply the fragrance after a long day at the office before heading out for dinner as us busy ladies do. I think that is such a wonderful asset to the perfume because it makes it a very economical purchase. When your fragrance last longer your bottle lasts longer and you can go longer between repurchasing and, let’s admit, we all appreciate that!
This fragrance instantly became one of my favourite fragrances from the moment I first smelt it. It is so beautiful and so alluring that I have a feeling Elizabeth Arden Always Red will be one of my favourites for the rest of my life. I would definitely suggest trying this out for yourself! It will be heading to Elizabeth Arden beauty counters from 14 September so keep an eye out for it. I would love to know what you think!
If you’re looking for a lighter, more summery, day time fragrance, I would suggest you try Elizabeth Arden’s Untold Absolu. Read more about that fragrance here.
