When I was so excited when I received an invitation to the Polo International Horse Trials. My love affair with horses started as a child and, naturally, I couldn’t wait for the occasion to spend the day around these gentle giants. The Polo International Horse Trials was hosted by Polo South Africa and presented by DSTV Premium and there were competitors from all areas across the globe competing in equestrian show jumping and course-country courses. The event took place at Waterfall Polo Estate in Midrand which is such a wonderful equestrian estate.
Le BF and I had such a lovely time sipping on sparkling wine in the marquee with a lovely view of both the cross-country course and the show jumping fields. I could quite easily sit and watch the horses and so we did. The view from the estate is so beautiful and so open that it felt as though I had left JHB and was on holiday. We had a delicious lunch in the marquee comprising of sushi, coconut chicken curry, a variety of salads and a wonderful cheese platter. We were also spoilt with high tea treats of mini tartlets, cream choux pastries and fresh fruits. It was all absolutely delightful!
For the occasion I wore this jumpsuit with gold detailing and added gold accessories. I opted for wedges rather than heels as I always do for outdoor occasions (no one likes getting stuck in the grass).
Thank you so much to Be-Cause for hosting us at the Polo International Horse Trials. We had such a wonderful time!
