A crisp white shirt and denim will always be one of my favourite outfit combinations. It is such a simple look but it just works. It allows you to have a neutral base to work off of so you can throw on some dramatically bold shoes and a bright lip colour and you are guaranteed to look über chic.
Today I decided to pair together a white shirt and denim shorts as opposed to long jeans since we’ve been having the most outrageous heatwave. I also opted for shorts so that the full emphasis would be on what my feet are wearing 😉 Oh my goodness. Be still my beating heart. These shoes!!! The moment I saw them last week I knew they were coming home with me. I’m utterly obsessed with the fringe detail, the tassle ends, the ankle straps and, of course, the colour. Aren’t they gorgeous?
With red detailing to compliment my simple white shirt and denim outfit I opted for a bold red lip too. I’m wearing the Revlon HD lip lacquer and I absolutely love it. It super glossy! So with the touch of red on my feet, on my lips and, by chance, on my nails too, I had red accents on a very basic outfit which gave a little chic edge to it. What do you think of this look?
