Hi everyone! I’ve just got home from the most amazing trip to the United Arab Emirates. I can’t wait to share all the details of my trip with you but before I start sorting through the pictures I’ve taken on my camera I thought I’d share a couple that I shared on Instagram over the past two weeks.
1 Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai.
We arrived at this gorgeous resort to spend the day at the Atlantis Acquaventure waterpark which holds many records and it’s easy to tell why. The slides are absolutely thrilling and the setting of the waterpark is gorgeous! We had so much fun running around these slides for the day. That evening we glammed up and enjoyed a dinner at Nobu which is a world class restaurant inside the resort.
2. The Madinat
The Madinat is the newest souk in Dubai and it is so breathtakingly beautiful that I could have sat for hours watching the water and catching glimpses of the Burj Al Arab.
3. Hot Air Balloon Ride
One of the things I was most excited for in Dubai was our hot air balloon ride through the desert. It was an absolutely magical experience watching the sun rise from the desert and soar above the sand dunes. We booked our hot air balloon ride through Balloon Adventures Emirates. Book your balloon adventure here.
4. Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi
We took a day trip out of Dubai and into Abu Dhabi to the Grand Mosque and it was such a humbling experience walking around the sacred mosque and taking its majestic aura. It is the largest mosque outside of Saudi Arabia. I could write so many words about this experience but no words will do this mosque justice.
é 5. Miracle Garden Dubai
This was one of the best experiences of my trip. The miracle gardens ring true to their name. It is quite unbelievable that such incredible, manicured gardens can exist in the middle of the desert.
6. Ladurée, Jumeirah Beach Residence
This Ladurée restaurant overlooks the Jumeirah beach front and it is simply gorgeous. There’s a real mix of the V&A Waterfront and French chic happening at this restaurant and I absolutely loved every second.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this look of Dubai through Instagram. If you’d like to see more you can add me on Instagram (@arumlilea) and check back on the blog within the next few days for more of my travel diary. Thanks so much for reading!
Looks like you had an amazing trip! Your photos are beautiful 🙂
