Hi everyone! I didn’t manage to get an outfit post up last week but I am back today with another one. I hope you guys can forgive me! Anyway, since I’ve moved out of home I haven’t changed my address for deliveries so I pop home to my dad to go and collect anything that’s arrived over the weekend. This past weekend there was a delivery I wasn’t expecting and you can imagine my excitement when I opened the package to find this gorgeous Shop Brett Robson high waisted skirt. I could have squealed. I actually may have squealed.
My initial thought was to wear it with the zip up the back as a super chic pencil skirt resembling the skirt Sandra Bullock wore in The Proposal. If there has been a single skirt I’ve ever seen in my life that has left me starstruck that is the one. With a crisp white shirt, a red lip and your hair pulled back I think this skirt would be a showstopper.
In today’s look, though, I wore the rose gold zip to the front. I decided to pair it with a cropped top from River Island and a monochrome clutch from Aldo. This is just my kind of look. It’s simple but sassy. It’s quite sexy and yet isn’t very revealing or expose too much skin. I absolutely love it!

That skirt looks great on you and I like the pop of red colour with the shoes 🙂 I was watching a fashion edit somewhere saying that tall people could wear that type of skirt with the zip lower and more petite people could undo the zip more, showing more leg thus appearing taller. I think I would just wear it anywhere depending on my mood!
