Durban July Style Guide with Forever New & Arum Lilea

This week I’m going to be sharing three posts featuring outfit inspiration for the Durban July which is right around the corner.  It’s such a glamorous, fashionable and social affair that people often forget all about the horse racing.  To help you prepare your outfit for the Durban July (or any other upcoming, semi-formal event) I have created this three-post style guide series together with Forever New to help you find the style you’re looking for.  Each look is different to the next so there is something in this series for everyone.  

In today’s edition of the Durban July style guide I selected this absolutely gorgeous, blush pink Forever New dress.  It reminds me so much of this dress that I’ve been lusting after for ages (I also love this shade).  I love the silhouette of this dress because the shape is so soft and feminine and it will also be flattering on every kind of figure which is no easy achievement.  The quality of this dress is evident in the fabric detailing and its weight.  The low back is so elegant.  I think this dress is perfectly paired with a strappy sandal (I love this pair and this pair) and a beautiful clutch for the occasion.  This look is something that you can quite happily wear to an engagement party, wedding or graduation too which means you’ll be able to use it for several different occasions which is always a bonus in my books.
