How to style over-the-knee boots

Hi everyone!  If you follow me on Instagram (@arumlilea) or Snapchat (arumlilea) you will already know that Ryan and I moved into the Radisson Blu Sandton for the weekend where we enjoyed a two night stay.  It was such a lovely weekend and I’ve got a full hotel review coming up for you in my next post.  While we were there we shot these pictures.  I last wore in this in this post which was quite a casual look.  Today I wanted to share another way to style them.  This body-con long sleeve dress has been in my wardrobe for about two years and it’s been well worn.  Whenever I want a smart, chic look but I don’t have much time to plan an outfit, I tend to reach for this dress.  It’s been wonderful for surprise date nights, birthday dinners and beauty events too.  I didn’t have much time to plan outfits for this weekend getaway so once again this dress was a fail-safe choice that I could count on as a last minute addition to my luggage.

I paired them with these and I loved the combination for sundowners before dinner in the city.  What do you think of the over-the-knee boots trend?  Do you love it as much as I do?
