I know many of you are about to leave on foreign adventures and vacations to new countries around this time of year so I thought I’d help you out with a travel outfit idea.  In my experience it is always important to ensure you’re dressed comfortably.  A long haul flight in your tightest pair of skinny jeans is not going to be any fun at all so I like to wear either a pair of stretch denims or leggings.  I’m not sure about you, but my feet swell quite a bit when I travel so I always make sure I’m wearing comfortable shoes too.  This has also saved me when I’ve had to run through terminals to catch a connecting flight.  I also like to make sure that I always have something warm packed into my hand luggage because the air conditioning in airports and on aeroplanes is always icy.  To ensure I don’t freeze I always pack a blanket scarf.  This way I can stay warm in the airport during layovers and a great scarf doubles as an additional blanket on the aeroplane to keep me cozy.  A scarf is a wonderful lightweight piece and doesn’t take up much space in your luggage so I can fold it up and pack it away quite easily when it’s time to get on the move again.  I usually pack at least one hat with me when I travel and I don’t like to pack these in my bag for worry that they get damaged, so the best way to ensure they stay in good condition is to wear them when I travel.

If you’re not jetting off on an island hopping adventure in Greece or taking a trip around the London Eye because your budget is too tight this year, not to worry.  I’ve got a little tip for you too.  People often ask me how I’ve managed to travel as much as I have and the simple answer is through savings.  I’m really strict about how much I put away into travel savings each month and this has allowed me to travel across Europe, USA, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.  I always say it really isn’t about how much you earn, but rather about how much you save.  Absa has simplified the saving process with the Click to Save offering which makes saving for your dream holiday simple and hassle-free.  Absa knows you have dreams of seeing the Eiffel Tower and wants to help you arrive at your dream destination. Absa has prepared the video below to whet your appetite for a holiday.

Thank you to Absa for sponsoring this post.
