Spring outfit inspiration

Today I thought I’d share some spring outfit inspiration with you.  To me there is nothing more elegant than a string of pearls.  I can’t help but smile when I see them whether in my own collection or worn by someone I might be walking past.  I my mind, each pearl has its own story and I love that something so beautiful is the product of grit.  In any event I’ve definitely been wearing my pearls a lot more recently now that we’ve reach our spring months.  I’ve also been extremely excited finally wear this new floral skirt of mine from Forever New.  I saw it during the sale season at the beginning of winter and scooped it up but it’s been too cold to wear it until now.  I wore this skirt to my Benefit Cosmetics meet up a few weeks ago (which you may have seen on my Snapchat – username: arumlilea).  I though I needed to wear something for spring and I couldn’t have been happier with my choice.

What is the first item of clothing you bring out as the weather changes?  I still have yet to wear a pair of shorts but I think that shorts are only going to happen when it gets really hot and we’re just not there yet.  For the most part I’m pulling out all of my maxi dresses, pencil skirt and I’m so excited to be wearing sandals again ( are my absolute favourites).  What is your spring outfit inspiration?
