Jacaranda Spring

This time of year is always so incredibly beautiful as the streets turn this lilac shade of purple.  The jacaranda trees throughout the city create quite a natural masterpiece.  You don’t realise how many of them are around Johannesburg until spring time but it’s always awe-inspiring when you see them in full bloom.  The aerial shots of  Johannesburg right now are the perfect depiction of our jacaranda spring.  Last year I made full use of our jacaranda spring by heading up to the Union Buildings for a walk along the streets lined with the gorgeous trees to snap pictures along the way which you can find in this post.  

Every year for the past couple of years I’ve posted multiple outfit pictures with this gorgeous phenomenon.  You may remember this post or this one for example.  This jacaranda spring is no different.  I thought this Forever New floral print skater dress would be complimentary so the beautiful to blossoms so I paired it with a crisp white shirt and a pair of nude heels for a Sunday Best look.
