If you follow me on my social media platforms (@arumlilea) you will already know that I was in Los Angeles, California around Christmas. It was my third trip to LA in five years. Where does time go? But needless to say, I absolutely love LA and I have the most remarkable friends out on that side of the world which makes each trip to see them so incredibly special. This past trip was just something that my soul needed. I laughed more than I have laughed in ages and I just had the best time.
Today I’m sharing a few of my favourite highlights from my trip to LA in this Los Angeles Travel Diary. I obviously could not miss Disneyland so you’ll see a bit of the park in this vlog. I was also dying to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios which was an absolute dream for a Potter fan as obsessed as I am. It’s truly unbelievable to see what they’ve created as you walk through Hogsmeade and up to Hogwarts. We also spent time in Malibu, had a night out in Hollywood and saw the skyline of downtown LA from Griffith Park Observatory which is beautiful. Ryan is a huge basketball fan so we couldn’t leave without watching two NBA games. We watched the Golden Gate Warriors at the Oracle Centre in San Francisco and the LA Clippers at the Staple Centre in downtown LA. It was such a fun experience! Ryan also went to watch college basketball and headed to a UCLA game but I passed on that one (too busy flicking my wand in Hogsmeade).
I hope you enjoy this Los Angeles Travel Diary. If you missed the past two, you can find my Hong Kong Travel Diary here and my San Francisco Travel Diary here. It was seriously the most wonderful trip and I’m so lucky to have experienced it together with the most incredible people. I still have so many pictures to share with you from all the cities we have visited so I will be posting those over the next couple of weeks. Thank you so much for watching!
