For my birthday I received the  and  as the most marvelous gift from Irina.  As you can imagine, I squealed with delight when I opened up these gifts!  You will already know that I am a huge fan of Urban Decay cosmetics.  I absolutely adore the quality of their eyeshadows and I think that there is every reason for the hype surrounding the Naked palettes.  My collection started with the ich I wrote about in this post.  Just when I thought nothing could be better, I received the palette which is encased in the most beautiful rose gold packaging.  I wrote a full review of that palette in this post.  In December the palette was released in stores and I immediately created this makeup tutorial with it’s gorgeous, dramatic shades.  This  palette it, therefore, going to feel quite at home with all of its other brothers and sisters.  What I really love about this particular palette is how compact it is.  It’s such a lovely, dinky size that it is the most perfect palette you could ever wish to travel with.  The shades are also wonderfully neutral so they are perfect for every girl out there (we all love our neutrals don’t we?).  It’s also a great palette to pop into your handbag to take an office-appropriate makeup look to a more sultry, smokey eye after hours.  It has a fantastic mirror too which I actually think is so valuable when it comes to convenience.

The , to me, is the most wonderful palette.  I am so obsessed with the Aurora highlighter by Urban Decay because it gives you the feeling as though you have sprinkled yourself with fairy dust and could twinkle around like Tinkerbell all day long.  It sells out sooooo quickly so I can’t be the only one that is literally dazed over its beauty.  While you can buy it (if you can track it down) on its own but it is central to this trio palette too.  The palette also has a shimmery bronze shade and a sparkling rose shade too which allows you really go all out with your highlighter, and if you’re anything like me, the first time you use it you will have all shades siting on your face within a couple of seconds.  I truly couldn’t be more excited to create more makeup looks using these two new palettes in my collection!
