I’ve had this dusty pink wrap dress in my wardrobe since winter last year but this is its debut on the blog for whatever reason. I did wear it in this vlog while we were staying at the Radisson Blu in Sandton so you might, perhaps, remember it from there. In any event, this dress has become one of those that I often reach for on days where I want to look smart but haven’t really got the energy to think too hard about what I’m wearing. I know we all have those days so it is important to have these kinds of dresses in your wardrobe to make life a little bit easier on those days. This is also such a lovely dress for the reason that it can be worn in any season. In winter I tend to pair it with a trench coat, black tights and heels or boots and in summer I’m quite comfortable with bare legs and these sandals. Key clothing items that you can wear all year round are definitely worth investing in because the cost-per-wear ratio makes this purchase so much more feasible. I’m really so glad I scooped this wrap dress up when I did. I’m going to link a few similar, affordable versions of this dress below so if you think this is for your I’d really suggest adding one to your own wardrobe.
Unrelated, what are your weekend plans? My friend, Jennifer, is having her birthday breakfast tomorrow morning which is exciting (I love birthdays). My sister and Ryan are both working in the hospital on Saturday and Ryan only finishes his call on Sunday morning so I think I might go visit my dad while they’re both working. On Sunday we have a Christening which Ryan and I are both quite excited about. We’ll be having a big lunch with family after the Christening too which is always wonderful.
Have a wonderful Friday everyone! I’ll be back with a new post on Monday.
