With spring on our horizon, the temperatures will start to climb and our makeup and outfit choices will start to change. Warm tones will soon be everywhere and I love that warm tones are popping up in so many makeup brands (you may remember my Morphe 35O review seen here). There are four new products that I’m very excited to be introducing you to today because they create a gorgeous look for spring and summer. Welcome the and the to the crew.
Clarins has launched the most beautiful Sunkissed Limited Edition makeup collection for summer 2017. The packaging of this range is simply stunning. It is inspired by the tropics and you can quite easily visualise laying out under a palm tree with the sea blowing a refreshing salt spray in your direction as the sun warms your skin. The bronze tropical print packaging is really so impressive that it will catch your eye and the eye of others the moment you pull it out of your beauty bag.
The Bronzing and Blush Compact is inspired by a sunset on a tropical island and you can see this in the layout of the different shades. It contains three matte shades and an iridescent coral shade to warm the skin and give you that sunkissed glow. The Bronzing and Blush Compact is made with micro-patch vegetal which is a filmogenic action to prevent skin from dehydration and provides optimal and continuous moisturisation when it is used. It also protects skin from pollution thanks to ingredients such as white tea and nipplewort. The compact is larger than any of my other bronzers so it is guaranteed to last a long time. It has a wonderfully large mirror so it is the ideal compact to keep in your purse for touch ups.
I am incredibly excited to share this palette with you. This palette contains matte, satin and pearl shades in beige, gold, orange and brown. They can be built up from the most natural look to a very intense warm tone, glamorous look. When I use this palette to create a dramatic look, my eyes look crystal blue and stand out in a way they could never do with any other shades. It’s a very compact palette so it is perfect for travel as it won’t take up much space and while it only has four shades, you will be surprised by how versatile it really is.
When it comes to makeup for summer, waterproof is the way to go. It increases the longevity of your makeup and prevents evaporation on those extremely hot and humid days. Clarins has introduced two new metallic gold and copper pencils into the limited edition Sunkissed collection. They have a light and creamy texture that makes them easy to blend. They’re ideal for use on the lower lash line or on the inner corner of the eye. I’ve been using the copper shade and it’s unbelievable how it pulls together a warm tone look.
This palette has broken the internet. For good reason too. The Urban Decay Naked Heat palette contains twelve of the most incredible warm tone eyeshadows. They can be used to create just about any look you can imagine. Often people shy away from oranges and reds or anything that isn’t a variation of brown, to be honest. I really encourage you to step out the box and try these warm tones. You will be shocked at how incredible they are at making the eyes pop. The Urban Decay Naked Heat palette has very quickly become my most favourite of the Urban Decay Naked palettes (and I say that every time they launch a new one). It’s truly unbelievable how each palette that Urban Decay launches is better than the previous one because the first palette set the standard so high and yet they continue to climb. It’s no secret that this is one of my favourite makeup brands and if you haven’t already I really encourage you to try it. If you’d like to see a few of my other favourite products from the brand you can watch this video. You can also watch a tutorial I created using the products so you can see the quality over here.
