Good morning everyone
I hope you had a very special Easter weekend. I had such a busy but lovely one. On Friday we went hiking with Ryan’s parents. On Saturday we went spent more time with family. On Sunday we went to church and I cooked a roast lunch which we ate under the trees in the garden at my dad’s house. Spending time with family is the most important thing in the world to me so I cherish every moment I am able to.
I’ve been plotting out the things on my calendar for the month of April and it’s going to be a very busy month ahead. It is my sister’s birthday this weekend which is exciting! My friend Jenna is also going to be popping into town on Saturday and I haven’t seen her since November so I’m looking forward to seeing her so much. Aside from that, I also have an essay due this month that I really need to start prepping for. I’m a little bit nervous about the amount of work I need to do but I need to stop procrastinating and jump into it. We also have a trip away to one of the most gorgeous places later this month which I can’t wait to share with you! Needless to say, April is going to be slightly manic but a whirlwind of fun.
My April Aspirations are:
- To start my workouts at 6:30 am every morning
- Walk every evening
- Read my prescribed coursework from 7:30 – 9 pm every evening
- Read at least 1 novel
- Continue with restricted screentime on my phone (I did this during Lent and I can’t believe how much of an impact it made so I’m quite keen to make this a permanent thing)
- No more than 2 cups of tea/coffee per day
- to get more sleep
With that being said, I’d love to know what your aspirations are for the month of April. Are your April aspirations fitness/health-related or are you looking to hit a new savings goal or even tidy up your wardrobe, I’d love to know. Let’s keep each other motivated this month!
