Wedding Guest Outfit Idea

To ensure that you’re the best-dressed wedding guest this season, I thought I’d share this wedding dress outfit idea which might inspire a look of your own.  It can be quite daunting to come up with the perfect outfit to wear as a wedding guest but the secret to any great look lies in the accessories.  Why not start with a fabulous pair of shoes such as these Dune Londonand work on your outfit from there?  It may seem counter-intuitive to plan your outfit from the bottom up but it is often very effective.

I decided to stick to the blush shade of thein styling the remainder of this outfit so I moved on to look for a second accessory for this wedding guest look and found this beautiful .  From there I knew exactly which kind of dress I would be looking for.  I knew that is  that sits just above the knee would be the perfect pencil dress to wear as a wedding guest.  Once I had planned the perfect , and for the occasion, I thought rose gold jewellery would be lovely to pull the whole look together.  This caught my eye because of its incorporation of both rose gold and pearls which is possibly my favourite combination in terms of accessories at this stage.  For an extra piece of detailing, I added the rose gold bracelet too.

1. Don’t be afraid to wear the same colour head to toe.  If you’re going for a soft, neutral shade, you can easily incorporate this into your entire outfit.  If you’re going to do this, try and mix up the texture of the fabrics you’ll be wearing to keep things interesting and to add dimension to your outfit.
2. Make sure that your shoes are comfortable.  With an afternoon wedding and a reception guaranteed to last all night long, the last thing you want to be dealing with is sore feet and blisters.  Pick your shoes wisely and always break in new shoes before you wear them out.
3. Don’t forget to be authentic to your own style and stay true to your personality.  If you’re playful, add a touch of that to your outfit.  If you like to keep things simple, this can still translate into an extremely sophisticated look.
