Hi everyone! Don’t you just love this white satin panelled dress? I love a white dress and when you add cap sleeves and a gorgeous flare, I’m all in! You might actually remember seeing this dress in this post. Anyway, I felt like a little bit of a catch-up post today so here’s a little look at the things I’ve been doing lately.
LATELY I’VE BEEN…
watching – New Amsterdam. My mother-in-law mentioned how much she loved this show a while back and when we saw it had been added to the Netflix library, we started watching. It’s been such a long time since I’ve watched anything that makes me feel all emotional and this one really hits me in the feels. I also have Ryan pointing out every time an actor wears a stethoscope the wrong way around which is hilarious. Highly recommend this one!
reading – The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. This has been on my reading list for the longest time and at the beginning of the year, I added it to the list of books I need to read in 2021. I’m also reading a ton of legal material because I’m doing another postgraduate course this year and the reading list is endless.
eating – all the recipes prepared by Tieghan from Half Baked Harvest. I think I’ve been following her blog for the past ten years and each recipe she makes is absolutely delightful. Thank goodness for this blog or I would be scratching my head evening when trying to figure out what to cook for dinner.
looking for – a few things around the house. I need a dressing table. We also need a coffee table and high chairs for our centre island in the kitchen. I can’t say I’ve looked very hard but I need to get on that. If you have any suggestions on places to look for furniture, please let me know.
planning – Easter Sunday. My sister and I usually plan Easter lunch together at my dad’s house and I think we’ll be doing the same this year. We love a traditional roast and we spend the afternoon playing board games and laughing our heads off so it’s always a winner.
using – scented candles. It’s no secret that I have a crazy stash of scented candles for every room and I absolutely love them. With the amount of load shedding that’s been happening lately, I’ve been burning my candles more frequently than usual and it has reminded me how relaxing I find beautiful fragrances that linger in the air. Bliss!
loving – Yaga! I decided to do a wardrobe sale to make space for my winter wardrobe. I’ve listed so many incredible sale items on my Yaga account, including the white dress I’m wearing in this post. If you’d like to take a browse through the items for sale, click here.
Thanks to Mara from M Loves M for the inspiration for this post. If you enjoy this one, I might do them a little more often. Have a wonderful day everyone!
