I have been eyeing these gorgeous lilac mirrored Ray-Ban aviators for over a year but I have such a love/hate relationship with aviators that I hadn’t picked them up until now. I absolutely love aviators on other people. The Ray-Ban mirrored aviators are absolutely beautiful too. They come in so many different shades from orange, blue, green, pink and the ones I’ve been lusting after (but aren’t stocked in South Africa) are rose coloured. They are simply gorgeous! So perfect for a tropical beach holiday too.
The aviator shape is the essence of sex appeal thanks to Tom Cruise in his iconic roll in Top Gun. While completely gorgeous on both girls and guys, I’ve always thought my round face swallows them whole which is not as appealing. Recently I come across them once again and this time all I had on my mind was carpe diem. I keep thinking about the beach holidays coming up in December and I decided that these would be the ultimate accessory for the occasion so I scooped them up. I’m so glad I did too. I’m finally embracing the way I look in aviators and I can’t wait to rock them on the beach! Now I’m sure you will be seeing them in many outfit posts over the next couple months!
