L’Oreal Professionel Paris Vitamino Color A-OX

I have recently changed my hair care routine, as I often do, and I thought I should fill you all in on what I’ve been using and write a review on the products I’m currently using.  As of the last month or so I have been using the .  This range is specifically designed for coloured hair.

Have you coloured your hair?

Yes, I recently visited Tanaz hair salon on Corlett Drive in Illovo and had Shelene take the reigns with my precious locks.  I’ve been wanting soft, subtle highlights in my hair for the longest time now and the last time a hair dresser came near my hair she left me with something resembling the stripes of a pedestrian crossing.  Shelene, however, knew exactly what I was looking for.  She explained that I was looking for soft, golden blonde babylights.  She decided that to achieve the effect I was looking for she was going to paint on my highlights and leave them to develop without the use of foil.  I left my hair in her hands and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.  No one would know I’ve had my hair coloured if they walked past but you will simply think I’ve spent a little time in the sun and that my hair is naturally sunkissed.  I can’t thank Shelene enough for doing such a great job with my hair.  I left smiling from ear to ear.

How do you use the L’Oreal Professionel Paris Vitamino Color A-OX range to protect your new colour?

As I mentioned, I have a new hair care routine that I started immediately after having had my babylights done by Shelene.  With fresh colour I now need to take care of my hair to prevent the colour from going dull or, worse, bronze.  To prolong the lifespan of my colour I’ve started using the L’Oreal Professionel Paris Vitamino Color A-OX range.  In this range there are, , a hair colour treatment and a .

The L’Oreal Professionel Paris Vitamino Color A-OX shampoos comprise of the as well as the .  The first has a gorgeous peppermint fragrance while the second reminds me of walking through a lavender herb garden.  I find with both these shampoos that you will need to shampoo twice, as is the case with any professional products, but each time only using a very small amount of shampoo.  The first shampoo does not foam in my experience while the second time does.  I personally like to alternate between these shampoos and I am finding that I generally need to wash every third day which I think is great for a colour protecting shampoo range.

The L’Oreal Professionel Paris Vitamino Color A-OX range has a that I find to be quite light.  I generally like a thicker, creamier consistency for conditioner because I know my long hair needs as much moisture as possible.  If you have shorter hair than I do, however, this conditioner will be perfect for you.  The L’Oreal Professionel Paris Vitamino Color A-OX is really wonderful though.  It had me at that delightful rose scented fragrance.  It also satisfies my love for a creamy textured conditioner.  While this is a hair treatment that you are technically meant to use once a week, I swapped out the normal conditioner for the mask for every wash because I love it so much.

The L’Oreal Professionel Paris Vitamino Color A-OX is the last product that I use in the range and I use this immediately after washing and conditioning my hair to wet hair.  A generous spritz is all that you need.  This spray will then protect against heat damage, frizz, colour fade, damaged and split ends, etc.  I don’t like to use too much of this spray, however, as I find that my hair does feel a bit brittle if I do so two or three pumps is more than enough.

In these simple shampooing, conditioning and treating steps I am finding that the  is looking after my hair colour beautifully.  In the month that I have been using this range I have been very impressed.  Summer is a time where you need to take exceptionally good care of your hair just as you care for your skin because being exposed to the sun, chlorine and salt water can all damage your hair and your hair colour so I’m very glad I’ve found a professional colour protection range that lets me worry less about my hair and focus on the fun parts of summer.  If you would like to try the L’Oreal Professionel Paris Vitamino Color A-OX range you will be able to find the products at any L’Oreal Professionel Paris hair salon.  If you are in JHB, though, I highly suggest booking an appointment with Shelene at Tanaz hair salon.  She uses this L’Oreal Professionel Paris Vitamino Color A-OX range and you are able to buy them at the salon too.  If you do book an appointment with her, be sure to mention you were referred by me!
