Off the shoulder maxi dress in Dubrovnik

24th July 2017

(sold out – similar available here and here) | Zara bag (similar available ) |

You may remember this off the shoulder maxi dress from this post where I rounded up all the items I chose to pack my summer holiday.  I fell in love with instantly and knew I needed it for our dinner reservation in Dubrovnik, Croatia.  This dress is currently sold out but I have found this similar version and I’m obsessed with this one.  Here is another too!

For those of you curious, Ryan made a reservation at the Panorama restaurant months ago and it looked like a spectacular venue for a restaurant so I wanted a special dress to wear for the occasion.  The views from the restaurant are phenomenal.  You can see the whole of old town Dubrovnik from your dinner table.  We sat sipping on ice cold white wine with our friends, watching the sunset as our dinner arrived.  The food at the Panorama restaurant is exceptional.  If you’re looking for a really special experience while you’re travelling through Dubrovnik, I would highly recommend making a dinner reservation here.  It was one of the very many highlights of our trip.  We were incredibly lucky that the day Ryan booked for us to dine there happened to coincide with the opening night of Dubrovnik’s summer festival so there was a fireworks show in the harbour that evening that was in full sight from the restaurant so it truly was an extra-special evening.

If you’re interested in learning more about our trip to Croatia and Montenegro, be sure to keep checking back because I’ll be posting all the details of our trip as well as recommendations on where to eat and places to visit.  Croatia and Montenegro crept into my heart while I was writing my Master’s thesis and it was a dream come true to go visit in person, speak to the locals and absorb the culture.  This trip reconfirmed my love for this area of the world and it may have been my first visit but it most certainly won’t be the last.
