I always love plaid incorporated into wintery looks. There’s something so lovely and laid-back about plaid and it can also be so cute dressed up with a navy sweater, a pearl necklace and riding boots. This is so versatile which is why I love it.
Okay, lets talk about these for a second. They are my favourite and I always get SO many compliments when I wear them because they are so flattering. Once the over the knee trend came back into style, it made me wonder why they ever went out of style.

So here is another variation on my love affair with plaid during winter. Keep snuggly and warm with this . I love having a few of these in my winter wardrobe because they’re so quick and easy to throw on over whatever you’re wearing making it the perfect piece of outer wear.
Okay, seriously, you need these. I do love my black ones but I get much more wear out of my grey ones. I love wearing light shades in winter to break up all the dark clothing and this is how I do it. I also LOVE the look of over the knee boots with sweater dresses. I think they look SO chic.

Yet another way to wear plaid. This cape is so warm and feels so cozy that it’ll feel as though you left home in your robe. I’m crazy about mine. In addition, these are absolute MUST HAVES! I get SO much wear out of them its crazy. It’s definitely worth stocking up on those so you have an extra pair when one is in the wash because you will be missing them otherwise. These will also get so much wear throughout the cooler months. I like to have a pair of booties in my wardrobe because as much as I love my over-the-knee boots, sometimes a pair of booties are all you need (especially during the daytime).

I’ve listed thismore than once in this post and that’s because it seriously gets so much wear. It’s another one of those “must-have” items that I can’t recommend enough. I wear mine so often that this is another basic that I actually have multiple of them. I wear mine under dresses for a cute wintery look or casually with high-waisted years as I’ve done here. I love, love, love throwing on a over mywith myandfor a cute date-night look!
