Hi friends! Happy Wednesday!
As you’re already aware, tomorrow is Valentine’s Day! I don’t know if this has any meaning in your life or whether you think it’s a silly holiday but I think it’s kind of cute. To me, it always serves as a gentle reminder to show those you love a little more appreciation. By way of example, my dad (who is an honest angel, by the way) absolutely loves Turkish delight and I happened to come across a lovely box of the pink treat while doing the grocery shopping over the weekend. Naturally, I added it to my basket as a little Valentine’s gift for him. Whether you’re in a relationship or not, letting the people you love know they’re special to you is always fun to do on Valentine’s Day.
I’m not yet sure if Ryan and I will be headed out for a date night on Valentine’s Day but I think we might stay at home and cook a delicious meal. I think we might save our special date night for next week as we mark 1 year until our wedding on 22 February! As you can imagine, this puts a huge smile on both our faces. Does that be Valentine’s Day from now onwards is canceled? Not quite, however, I do think it will always be trumped by our wedding anniversary and I don’t mind that in the slightest!

If you’re looking for a last minute gift for the man in your life, whether a boyfriend, fiancé or husband, I would definitely recommend a fitness watch (I bought one for Ryan last year and he absolutely loves it), a great new fragrance such as (ladies, this smell will give you butterflies!!!) or perhaps a to make his day!
Whether you’re spending Valentine’s Day drinking cocktails with friends, ordering pizza and watching movies on the couch or dressing up and being spoilt with a night out on the town, enjoy every minute! Don’t forget to also let those most important to you know how much you love them. Have a happy Valentine’s Day!
