Top Face Cleansers

3rd March 2015

top face cleansers

As a beauty blogger, I put my skin through so much trying so many products so that I can scout out the very best ones to share with you.  This is not always so glamorous I assure you.  Testing out too many products has caused my skin to become sensitive and I now breakout pretty easily if I use something doesn’t agree with my skin immediately.  I’ve experienced redness and aching skin from products with aggressive ingredients and alcohol.  I now seriously hesitate before I slap something on my face.  The upside of this is that when something works I stick with it.  If it works on my skin I know firstly it’s gentle enough to work on anyone’s skin and secondly that it does what it is meant to do.  You can trust my recommendations because I wouldn’t recommend something if I hadn’t used myself as a guinea pig first and it had passed my personal test.

Today I’ve put together a list of the Top Face Cleansers on the market.  After selecting these products I realised that they are all affordable products and nothing is going to break the bank.  This is quite an important point that I want to emphasize.  I’ve tried super expensive to super cheap products and the budget friendly one have held their own here.  It goes to show the hefty price tag on does not always mean they’re the best quality products out there.  Without waffling any more, let’s dive into this list:

1) Balm Balm Frankincense Deep Cleansing Balm:  This is a 100% organic balm that really reaches into your skin to cleanse it but does so ever so gently.  It has the key ingredients of shea butter, bees wax, sunflower and jojoba to cleanse and frankincense to rejuvenate the skin.  This is the first thing I use after a full day of work to make sure that my make up and oils from the day removed from my skin and I absolutely love the experience.  This product is animal cruelty free too which, as an animal lover, is so important to me.  To purchase, click here.

2) Lush 9 to 5 Cleansing Lotion:  This is not new to my blog (see this post here).  This product comprises of almond oil, dove orchid and ylang ylang oil making it an another product with age old ingredients for skin care and they have stood the test of time.  This cleanser I love to use in the mornings for a gentle cleanse.  It is 100% vegan and also animal friendly.

3) Garnier Soft Cleansing Lotion:  This is another cleansing lotion that I like to use in the mornings because it is gentle and I don’t need a good scrub first thing in the morning, just something to remove any impurities that my skin has developed in my sleep.  It has cherry tree and moringa extracts which are great, natural ingredients for cleansing.

4) Pond’s Spot Clear Multi Action Facial Foam & Scrub:  I included this product in my January Beauty Essentials post and for good reason.  This product is the cheapest on this list and gosh it packs a punch at such a great price.  Since trying it out I have recommended it to so many people.  My sister is now crazy about it too and she was just as shocked as I was to find that such an inexpensive product could be so effective.  You can feel it giving your skin a wonderful clean when using it and a love the thick paste that it forms when mixed with water.  This I use every night after using the Frankincense cleansing balm for an extra clean to rid my skin of any make up or unwanted oils.

I hope this list helps you on your quest for good quality skin care and cleansers.  Have you tried any of these?  Please share this post with your friends and comment down below if you would like any other beauty recommendations.  Thanks for reading!
