Occasion wear Instagram Update

I haven’t done an Instagram update in quite some time now so I thought I’d share a few of my latest snapshots with you.  Lately, we’ve had a number of weddings to attend so I bought this gorgeous  in lilac to wear as a guest to one of them.  I’ve been so obsessed with this style ever since launched theirs a couple of years ago.  This is a more affordable version of the original and I love it just as much.  The quality is great. It is made of beautiful fabric so I was very pleased with it and couldn’t wait to wear it!

Let us just take a moment for this cut and colour.  My eye seems to be drawn to everything cut off-the-shoulder and I have to take a closer look at anything this millennial pink shade because chances are, it’s going to end up in my wardrobe.  I’ve linked a few of my favourite dresses both in this shade and style in the widget below so take a scroll through it if you’re as much a fan as I am.

Maxi dresses are such beautiful items to have in your wardrobe, summer or winter.  They are so feminine and I especially love them in a floral print.  They are easy to throw on and are always bound have many compliments, even with minimal effort.  In summer, I love them paired with wedges or simple gold flats.  In winter, a great leather jacket and over-the-knee boots are fantastic pieces to pair them with to stay warm but fashionable.

With the change of season comes a change in colour palette.  I’ve always been a fan of burgundy in the autumn and winter so I couldn’t resist .   I did have to pair this dress with a trench coat but together with the neutral shoes, it all came together quite nicely.  Read the full post here.

If there are two things you need to know about me, it’s floral and lace.  It’s an eternal love affair.  Something else that you may have gathered is that I love neutrals so this bag and these shoes have been worn thousands of times!  I simply love how easy it is to pair neutrals with absolutely everything.  If you’re looking for a great new blouse or a gorgeous lace skirt, you’ll find a few of my favourites in the widget below.

In continuing with lace detailing, I’ve been loving these straight-cut lace dresses.  I think they look so polished and classy.  Again I’ve paired it with my favourite neutral bag and heels.  You can wear this look for anything from work to any special occasion because it is perfectly transitional from one to the other and couldn’t be more suitable for both.
