As you know, I’ve attended so many weddings over the past year and still have a few more ahead, including my own (you can read my latest wedding planning update here). While we’ve been enjoying all the engagement parties and weddings, the bridal showers are the focus of my attention in today’s post. This post is specifically designed for the bride-to-be in mind.
If you are going to be married in the upcoming months, you’ll most probably be wondering what to wear to your bridal shower. If you’re on the lookout for the perfect white dress for the day, I’ve rounded up a number of my favourite affordable dresses that will be perfect to wear to your bridal shower, bachelorette party or even to your rehearsal dinner if you’re planning to have one.
The I’m wearing in this post, I actually saw for the very first time on my friend Natalie who wore it to her own bridal shower and that’s what inspired this post. Her sisters actually spotted this dress and bought it as a surprise for her which I think is so special! I love the lace crochet and the long sleeve detail which hints at something bridal to the point that you wonder if it’s actually a teaser for the wedding dress itself. It’s so feminine and delicate which is another reason why I love it. It looks extremely high end and $$$ but, as it’s sitting at a really affordable price point. It could also be the perfect dress to wear for an engagement party or a rehearsal dinner.
I’ve been so impressed by this dress that I decided to do a round up of 9 of my favourite dresses for all your pre-wedding events and celebrations and I’ve linked each one below.
(such a fun dress for a bachelorette party – can you picture this with a faux veil? How cute would that be?!) // // //(this is the dress I’m actually wearing in this post and I love it!) // // //// (this is so elegant that I think I might add this one to my collection for our rehearsal dinner) //
I imagine that my bridal shower will be at the end of this year but I thought I’d probably start equipping my wardrobe with white dresses to wear for all the upcoming occasions so I’ll be ordering a few of these. Which is your favourite? If you’re looking something to wear as a guest to any one of these occasions, I’d highly recommend this blog post for a few great choices!
