Festive Season Favourites

Can you believe that we’ve somehow arrived at the festive season once again?  If your calendar is anything like mine, it’s filling up with Christmas functions and I’m looking forward to every second.  As we begin the festivities, I thought I’d put together my first gift guide of the season.  If you’d like to see a few of my previous gift guide ideas, click here.    Here are a few of my Festive Season Favourites could serve as a great gift for the ladies in your life or even a gift to yourself (because we know you deserve it).

My bridal shower

Last weekend my incredible bridesmaids hosted my bridal shower.  We had the most extraordinary afternoon having high tea and sipping on champagne and celebrating Ryan and my upcoming nuptials.  It’s difficult to express in words how grateful I am to have meant the man of my dreams and the wedding and all the little celebrations along the way are just the cherry on the top.

What it means to be a woman

The concept of being a woman is something I’ve spent so much time pondering on over the years and I’m sure it will be always be a topic I love to explore and discuss.  I’ve spoken about gender-related topics both on this blog and I’ve written magazine articles on the topic too.   Being a woman is something I am so passionate about and I love the skin I’m in so much, despite the challenges, every single day.   Here’s my version of what it means to be a woman.
