I’m sure that we’ve all experienced a sense of displacement and uncertainty over the last few weeks as all our plans are being halted and we’re not too sure how the next few weeks and months are going to unfold. I’m really trying to not let that seep into my psyche so I’ve implemented a few changes into my daily life to keep me going.
Stay-at-home outfit roundup
Hi everyone! The world is a little bit of a crazy place right now, isn’t it? I hope that you and your families are all doing alright with the stress of it all. On a much lighter note, despite being at home over the past few weeks, I’ve been pulling out some of my favourite dresses to wear simply because they make me feel good. When I take the time to get dressed in the morning, I feel productive and know that I’ll conquer all my goals for the day. In essence, all I’ve been doing is continuing my pre-lockdown morning routine and getting up, dressed and organised for the rest of the day and it works like an absolute charm. Here’s a look at a few of the outfits I’ve been wearing during lockdown along with links to everything I’m wearing.
Lessons COVID-19 has taught us
Hi everyone! I thought it was just worth writing a little note to say that this is a really weird time we’re living in. There’s so much uncertainty and so much unknown. We can’t predict what will happen tomorrow, much less make plans for the future. Most people are currently in their countries of residence where they will remain for the forseeable future. Most people have spent the weekend at home, practising social distancing. Weddings have been postponed. Concerts have been cancelled. Many are working remotely. It seems a little like we are bracing ourselfs for an invisible monster and, to keep safe, we’re locking ourselves inside our own homes. Odd times indeed.
