Yellow dress of dreams and an update for bookworms

I was drawn to this Forever New dress the moment I laid eyes on it.  Isn’t it the yellow dress of dreams?  It made me realise that I do not have enough yellow in my wardrobe.  It’s such a fun, happy colour and it’s so eye-catching, even in its muted form like this shade.  I’m a little crazy about it.  I absolutely love Zimmermann designs and when I first saw this Forever New dress, I thought it must have been inspired by this Zimmermann dress (or maybe this one).  What do you think?  I love that it has similar flowing, feminine and floral details.  It’s just gorgeous with its long sleeves and lace detail.  I did include this dress in my Spring Haul video so you can see how it moves in this video. 

An apology to my winter wardrobe

I feel as though I owe an apology to my winter wardrobe.  Considering the fact that we’ve spent the past few months predominantly at home, it would be very realistic to say that my most worn pair of shoes have been my Ugg boots.  My poor coats and dresses have been sitting on their coat hangers begging to be worn and now the winter is over.  It’s as though I’ve skipped an entire season but before we say goodbye to winter, I thought I’d slip on this particular pair of boots (last seen in this post) at least once before I pack them away.  

Elegant Winter Wear Brigitte Midi Skirt

All my beautiful clothes are not getting the wear they deserve this year so I decided to show you what a would be wearing if the world wasn’t so crazy right now.  It felt so unusual getting all dressed up but gosh do I miss having places to go and reason to get all dressed up.  The key component of this outfit is the Arum Lilea Collection midi skirt.  The thing I love most about it is that you can wear it year-round.  Versatility is key in my wardrobe and this skirt is just fabulous for that reason.  You may remember how I wore it in a slightly more casual manner in this blog post.
