Do you know what your average screen time is per day? According to this article, the average person spends 3 hours and 43 minutes on their phone per day. That amount is staggering. Not only does this mean copious amounts of scrolling on social media and checking in on other people’s lives but it also means hours detracted from our own work, relationships, health and wellbeing. It’s time for a social media detox.
Starting off the month with a few April aspirations
I hope you had a very special Easter weekend. I had such a busy but lovely one. On Friday we went hiking with Ryan’s parents. On Saturday we went spent more time with family. On Sunday we went to church and I cooked a roast lunch which we ate under the trees in the garden at my dad’s house. Spending time with family is the most important thing in the world to me so I cherish every moment I am able to.
The Lessons We’ve Learnt From “The Bold Type”
I am so taken with the fact that this series tackles so many important female conversations and I think it deserves a huge amount of praise for addressing them. While I initially judged this series as yet another thin fashion story, I was very pleasantly surprised at how courageous the storyline really is. It’s definitely worth a watch.
