My most worn dress of the year

My most worn dress of the year is most definitely this gorgeous Broderie Anglaise white maxi dress.  It’s so easy to wear and always looks so beautiful and feminine.  I’ve had so many compliments on it that it seems that I’m not the only one that loves it.  I love to wear it with either wedges or flats and, if the weather is slightly breezy, I’ll throw on a denim jacket to keep warm and it looks great.  I also love that you can either wear it on or off the shoulder which gives you a little variety on the neckline too.  Can you tell why it’s my most worn dress of the year?

Bride & Co. maxi dress

My friend Irina and I went to visit the Bride & Co. store in Rivonia and discovered such beautiful dresses.  This gorgeous blue and white dress immediately caught my eye.  The print is stunning all the frills give the dress such a light-weight elegant detail.  Right now I can only dream of all the places that I’d wear this Bride & Co maxi dress, but there are so many different occasions that would make the cut, weddings included.

People come in and out of our lives every day but there are some that find a place in our hearts.  Friendships blossom for so many different reasons and serve so many different purposes.  We laugh together, we cry together and we share moments of our lives together.  The love we share with friends fills us with confidence we need to take a leap of faith, calms us when we’re fearful and often has us laughing non-stop.  Friends often become our chosen family and we trust them with our secrets and our heart’s greatest desires because we view our friends to be our guardians and confidantes.  Friendship is a shapeshifter taking many different forms and colours, each one unique.  Here’s a note on friendship and the types of friendships I’ve experienced.
